How Families Stay Involved in Decisions
at Optima Living Communities
Finding the right senior living community is
a decision that touches every part of life: daily comfort, health, personal
independence, and the desire to feel connected. For many seniors, family remains an
essential source of encouragement and a steady, grounding presence. You might be
wondering how family fits into the decision-making process once you or a loved one
moves into a community. The answer is simple: at Optima Living, family is
woven into the heart of how we support each person.
Keeping your mind active doesn’t have to feel like work.
Simple activities like conversation, reading, games, and new experiences can all
support cognitive wellness in a relaxed, enjoyable way. The goal isn’t perfection —
it’s engagement, curiosity, and connection. We make space every day for moments that
help keep the mind stimulated while still feeling fun and stress free. A healthy brain
is nurtured through warmth, community, and small daily habits that truly fit your
life.
At MacTaggart Place, activities aren’t just pastimes,
they’re a big part of what makes life here so special. We love seeing our residents
dive in, try new things, and share moments that make each day meaningful.
Over
the holidays, Santa and Mrs Claus took time out of their busy schedules to drop in
to MacTaggart to visit our residents , so many smiles… I guess everyone was on the
Nice List.
There are always activities happening at MacTaggart Place.
